My family owns and operates a mobile sharpening and repair service, bringing the best of instrument repair to your doorstep.

Our vans are equipped with high-quality equipment that the most innovative Japanese shear companies use. The best sharpening and honing technology is in Japan, so we have invested the time and money to acquire both the equipment and training. That way, when we come to your salon, we are the best people to recondition your valuable shears to their original edge and sharpen your clipper blades. We are now repairing your clippers, your curling irons, hair blowers, and your flat irons.

I have been sharpening and repair since 1980 when I started a six-year apprenticeship under my father. He worked for the first mobile sharpening service in the business, visiting hospital to sharpen surgical instruments on-site when the competition was having the hospital mail-off their instruments for repair. In time, I started applying the business model to beautician shears, offer the best practices to salons.

Now, more than 40 years later, my son is helping me carry on the legacy of my father’s training of and insight to the best sharpening and repair practices, for salons and hospital alike.

It’s just an added bonus that we’re mobile.
